WageLog Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 22, 2026
WageLog is developed by NovaCoreLabs. This Privacy Policy explains how WageLog handles information when you use the application.
1. Information stored in WageLog
WageLog is designed as an offline-first application.
Information you enter into WageLog may include:
- job names and job colors
- hourly pay rates and currency settings
- pay-period and overtime settings
- shift dates, start times, and end times
- unpaid break durations
- bonuses, tips, and deductions
- shift notes
- other information you choose to enter into the app
This information is stored locally on your device in WageLog’s application storage.
WageLog does not require you to create a WageLog or NovaCoreLabs account.
2. Earnings information
WageLog calculates estimated earnings from the information and pay rules you enter.
These calculations are estimates only.
WageLog does not calculate taxes and does not determine legal payroll, employment, wage, or overtime eligibility.
3. Data sent to NovaCoreLabs
WageLog does not operate a NovaCoreLabs cloud account or synchronization service for your work-history data.
Your jobs, shifts, pay settings, earnings entries, and notes are not uploaded to NovaCoreLabs servers by WageLog.
If this statement becomes false because a future cloud feature is introduced, this Privacy Policy must be updated before that feature ships.
4. Exports and backups
WageLog lets you create files such as:
- CSV exports
- PDF reports
- WageLog backup files
These files are created only when you request the relevant action.
You choose the destination where those files are saved or the application/service with which you share them.
Once a file is saved outside WageLog or shared with another application or service, that destination’s own privacy and security practices apply.
Backup files may contain your work history, pay settings, and notes. Store backup files somewhere you trust.
5. Google Play purchases
WageLog uses Google Play Billing to provide the optional WageLog Pro lifetime purchase.
Purchase transactions are processed by Google Play.
WageLog may receive information from Google Play that is necessary to determine purchase status and Pro entitlement, such as whether the WageLog Pro product is purchased, pending, or acknowledged.
WageLog does not receive or store your full payment-card information.
Google’s handling of information related to Google Play purchases is governed by Google’s own privacy policies and terms.
6. Local Pro entitlement information
WageLog may store limited local entitlement state on your device so that a previously verified Pro purchase can continue to be recognized when Google Play is temporarily unavailable.
This local state does not contain your payment-card details.
WageLog does not persist purchase tokens in its local entitlement state, backup files, or exports.
7. Advertising
WageLog does not display advertising.
WageLog does not include an advertising-supported Free tier.
Free and Pro users both use WageLog without in-app advertisements.
8. Analytics and tracking
At the time of this policy, WageLog does not use NovaCoreLabs analytics or advertising tracking to monitor your use of the application.
WageLog does not integrate an analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDK. Google Play Billing remains a third-party platform service and may include its own service components.
9. Internet and third-party services
WageLog’s core work-history features are designed to work locally.
Some functionality may interact with third-party platform services when you explicitly use it.
Information sent to third-party applications or services through actions you initiate is subject to those third parties’ privacy practices.
- Google Play is used for WageLog Pro purchases.
- Android’s system sharing and document interfaces may be used when you save, open, export, restore, or share files.
10. Data retention
Data stored inside WageLog remains on your device until it is:
- edited or deleted by you
- removed by restoring or replacing WageLog data
- removed when application data is cleared
- removed when the application is uninstalled, subject to Android/device backup behavior outside WageLog’s control
WageLog does not maintain a NovaCoreLabs server copy of your work-history database under the current offline-first architecture.
11. Deleting your data
You can delete jobs and shifts from within WageLog.
You can also remove WageLog’s locally stored application data using Android’s application settings or by uninstalling the application.
Restoring a WageLog backup in replace mode may replace the current local WageLog data after your confirmation.
12. Children’s privacy
WageLog is a general productivity and work-hours utility and is not specifically designed as a service for children.
No specific age threshold is stated here because the applicable Play target-audience and legal wording has not been supplied for this build.
13. Security
WageLog uses Android application storage and Android’s system document and sharing mechanisms for its local data and user-requested files.
No software or storage method can guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for storing exported reports and backup files in locations you trust.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
NovaCoreLabs may update this Privacy Policy when WageLog’s functionality, data practices, or legal requirements change.
The current policy should be made available inside the application and, when configured, through the official WageLog Privacy Policy web page.
